Ben Martinek, Founder and CEO
Ben is originally from Tucson, Arizona. He studied Physics Engineering and received a degree in Economics from the University of the District of Columbia.
How would you describe your job at Cozy?
It’s kind of like being the conductor of an orchestra – you help people perform their best. It’s not about you, but about making sure everyone has what they need to perform their job and be awesome at it. I’m also the product dude.
What’s your favorite part of working at Cozy?
It’s exciting to watch your ideas and own creations come to life and make people’s lives slightly better. The product-making and building process is also exciting.
If you had a theme song play every time you entered a room, what would it be?
“Juicy” by The Notorious B.I.G.
If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
John Britten. He was a visionary architect and motorcycle designer. He made a lot of money in architecture, and then built motorcycles that were completely different - no one had ever seen anything like what he built.
If you were to compete in an Olympic sport, what would it be?
Boxing. It’s not the one I’d be best at, but it would be fun.
Arebeth Pease, Admin and Business Associate
Arebeth is from central New York. She studied art in Buffalo, New York.
How would you describe your job at Cozy?
As Cozy's Admin and Business Associate, I help the team with sales, business development, and most importantly, serving our customers. That's my favorite part and what I think I do best.
What is your favorite part of working at Cozy?
Again, serving our customers! (I like hearing about your Cozy experiences, so send us a review!) We provide a really cool product to our customers, but we also provide amazing service. I'm not going to lie, there are a lot of awesome components to working at Cozy, including getting funny gifs from Shirley.
What’s your favorite sound?
When you’re snorkeling and you can hear yourself breathing.
